Brandon Edminster, Denver, Colorado, Interim President

Brandon Edminster graduated from Texas Tech University with a master’s degree in business administration. Brandon currently serves as a policy specialist for a federal banking regulator, with a focus on consumer protection laws and regulations affecting all financial institutions in the United States. He specifically has subject matter expertise in consumer banking deposit and lending regulations, fair lending and unfair, deceptive and abusive acts or practices. He splits his time between Denver, Colorado and Washington, D.C.

Kimberly Russell, Washington, DC, Secretary

Kimberly Russell is an attorney who previously was a journalist at KTUL in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was raised in newsrooms, as both of her parents were broadcast journalists. She understands the importance of journalism, especially news that shines a light on lesser-known systemic issues.

Mollie Bryant, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The editor of Streetlight and a non-voting member of the board, Bryant has worked in the journalism industry since 2010 as a reporter specializing in public records and data. Before starting Streetlight in 2017, Bryant worked for news nonprofit Oklahoma Watch, where she covered the state legislature and state agencies. She previously served as an investigative reporter for The Clarion-Ledger in Mississippi and as an education and enterprise reporter for the Amarillo Globe-News in Texas. Bryant has received awards for her work from the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors, the Louisiana-Mississippi Associated Press Managing Editors, the Oklahoma Society for Professional Journalists and the USA Today Network.

Josh Stovall, Tacoma, Washington, Treasurer

Josh Stovall is the director of research and analytics with WorkForce Central, and he serves on the Performance and Evaluation Committee for the Tacoma-Pierce County Continuum of Care. He is an alum of the University of Utah and University of Washington, with a master’s degree in public health. Josh spends his free time planting trees and bicycling around Tacoma with his family.

JB Clark, Fort Worth, Texas

JB Clark is a storyteller, content strategist at Content Workshop and adjunct professor in Texas Christian University’s Bob Schieffer College of Communication. He is passionate about creating more inclusive and equitable communities with a focus on public health.
He and his wife April Alvarado-Clark live with their two kids (Shepherd and Austin) in the Dallas/Fort Worth community, where April works as a labor-and-delivery nurse while completing her doctorate in midwifery.
